For the most detailed and clear facial images of your baby, we generally recommend booking your 3D/4D or HD/5D scan between 26 and 32 weeks of pregnancy. Before 26 weeks, your baby may not have enough fat to fill out their features, and after 32 weeks, they might be too big or positioned too low, making it harder to get clear images. We’re happy to discuss the ideal timing for your unique pregnancy when you inquire!

We always do our best to get beautiful images of your baby. If your baby is not in a good position, our experienced sonographer will often try different techniques, or we may ask you to take a short walk or have a drink to encourage movement.
